Flip Flop Fund is a non-profit organization that provides shoes to underprivileged children in Laos. Our mission is to make sure every child in Laos has a pair of shoes. We've already provided almost 1000 children in Laos with shoes and we hope to give even more in our future missions. If you want to make a difference to children's lives, donate to Flip Flop Fund today!
About Us
Kate
My name is Kate and I am the founder of the Flip Flop Fund. My mom's family is from Laos and many families in the remote villages of Laos are very poor and barely have enough to provide basic needs for their families. This results in many children not having shoes to wear in the harsh conditions of rural Laos. When I found out they have no money to even buy shoes for themselves or their children, I knew that I needed to help. I started up the Flip Flop Fund organization to raise money to provide a pair of shoes or flip flops to every child and raise awareness about this issue. In our first mission, we raised over $800 and gave over 600 pairs of flip flops to children in southern Laos which was an amazing start to the Flip Flop Fund. I hope to raise even more for our future missions so we can continue to help children in Laos.
